A couple of new starts

DD Neve's birthday is approaching in May and she is heading to France with her school that week (I thought I was going to be dead relaxed about this but the closer it is getting the more I am like omg my dd is going to a different country without me aah!) . Anyway, she isn't getting any pressies as she will be away and when I saw this I thought I would quickly stitch it up for her.  For some reason lost on me all 12 year olds seem to be obsessed with moustaches. . She has moustache bedding, jewellery ..  you get the picture..
Hopefully will get this finished up next time she is out the house.

Going to start another new start tonight for a friend who just had a gorgeous wee baby boy. Dad's always been a bit of a Guns and Roses fan so when I saw this I thought it was just ideal. .

Right off to get the washing in and start dinner. Oh my Saturday nights are so exciting these days lol...

Where I'm at. March (and Feb) wips

I appear to have missed a couple of months That's generally how life feels at the moment.

So over the last few weeks I've dropped ny rotation and just worked on a couple of different wips as and when ive been feeling like it..quite liking this. Worked on haed Rapunzel and haed qs twilight shimmer. Here is where they all are.
Now I feel a bit of a Mirabilia week coming on

Well here he is in all his glory.  I changed the original design slightly to make it more appropriate for us. We all love our empire biscuits here.

Say hello to my friend Darth

I've got a day off tomorrow and I plan to spend it with Mr Vader. I love this time of year when you have to use up your annual leave and so end up with some wee sneaky day of.. kids are school, dh at work. Just me and some stitching and plenty of telly to catch up on.. lovely.   Here's where I'm at at so far.

The last couple of weeks I have been working on a belated Christmas Ornament to replace one that went missing on first posting.  Forgot to take a snap before I popped it in the post though.  Also have done a bit more on my HAED mini sea of roses - I am really loving this mini but will now put it away for a wee bit to concentrate on other things.



With it being such a gorgeous just a hint of spring day today had a bit of a clear out, got some cd's boxed up ready for music magpie, books off to the charity shop and also updated what stitching mags I still have.  If anyone is interested in these please see link below, got a few Cross Stitch Gold and Collection etc - only looking to cover postage costs.

Jan wip

Oops? have realised that january appears to have come and gone and I still haven't updated my blog. Great start to the year lol!
Well this month I have worked on haed twilight shimmer and my new start haed mini sea of roses as well as a bit on my Mirabilia and then this week I've started on another Christmas ornament to replace one I had sent and which unfortunately disappeared into the ether. No pics of that till its gone.

Had to have a little stash enhancement of course from Paine Free Crafts. A new company selling some fab designs. I had to give in and by this.

.So gorgeous! This week I am doing a bit of a mish mash of Haed, Christmas ornie, Darth Vader and hopefully start a wee baby gift..we'll see how it pans out.
