we enjoyed ourselves at Disneyland paris, a good few days were had by all. I even went on a couple of reasonably scary rides - well scary enough for me lol.
Lesson of the week learned - just because kids can get on a ride does not mean it is a "kid's ride"! As i found out on Crush's coaster which took me a bit by surprise to say the least...
the kids of course went on anything they could get on - fair play to them. It was hideously expensive in the park though - £6.50 for a pint of beer! - and the food was pretty dire. But all in all we would probably go back for a couple of days as it so easy for us to get to.
as for the summer holidays we have bought a tent, we've never really been proper camping before but only planning to go for a couple of nights at a time and not too far from home. Just need to get a bit more practice getting the tent up and we'll be off. That's if me and dh can manage that without too much arguing...
plan for the week
- finish another page on Homer and maybe sneek in a bit more on HAED Twilight Shimmer
- get my front garden sorted
- get stuck in The Fiery Cross by Diana Gabaldon - i am halfway through but it feels like the never ending story at the moment.
What wonderful photos and it looks like a great time was had by everyone! Enjoy your holiday!
