Well I got this back from the framers yesterday and although i was having a huff and puff about the cost of it last week, I am so happy with it this week lol! I've now got it stashed in the back of the car so that dh doesn't see it but I cannot wait to give it to him, i wonder if I can hold out till Christmas .
also got the background done for the advent calender so should have that all finished up this week as well. After that i think my stitching time will be slightly diminished as we are getting the new kitchen starting week after next and the electrics rewired so chaos will ensue for the next couple of weeks - bring it on ....

llThat is stunning!
ReplyDeleteOK, for some reason it put the last two letters from the word verification box at the start of the post, obviously it should say "that is stunning"
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing what a good framing job does for a piece? It's lovely and I'm sure he's going to love it too! *Hugs*
ReplyDeleteJust stunning Maureen!
ReplyDeleteVery brave having work done on the house just before Christmas. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteSo elegatn in that frame - he will love it! Best wishes for the kitchen upheaval!
ReplyDeleteOh, it is stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeing a picture framer myself they did a wonderful job on it. A word to the wise ~ though, you should find a place in the house to hide it cause the changes in temperature in a car are not good for a framed piece of needlework, or any other artwork for that matter. You have so much time invested you wouldn't want the elements to damage all of your gorgeous work.
Your advent calendar pieces are super. Great job!
God Bless ~
Lenna
Just wonderful!
ReplyDeleteWorth every penny.
